Managed Dedicated Hosting and Migration
Back in the summer of 2004, Nord Enterprises came to MVI with a need for a full technology partnership. This included support, programming and hosting services which are all offered by MVI. The partnership was established and MVI began the process of setting up their new custom-built dedicated server. Nord Enterprises software is an HOA (Home Owners Association) website creation/management system.
Before coming to MVI, the entire application ran on a shared hosting account with another hosting company. MVI analyzed the existing application in its existing environment and came up with an affordable yet fast and reliable managed dedicated server solution that would give Nord Enterprises the best bang for their buck. MVI then spent the next week configuring the new server and setting it up in their hosting facility.
During that time, MVI also created a plan on how to migrate their existing application from its old location to the new MVI location. This process required careful planning as to ensure the minimal amount of downtime to their application and email system. Once the new server was ready and the migration plan was complete, MVI and Nord Enterprises agreed on a date when everything would be moved over. When the time came, MVI executed the migration plan and successfully moved everything (domains, web application, email) with minimal down time. Nord Enterprises has been an MVI hosting customer ever since and has been very satisfied with the level of service and support they have received over the years.
