Newbaby had the web’s largest supply of videos for new moms and wanted a full service social media site to display them. MVI created one of the first flash profile sites to allow easy transition between the huge library of videos and the blogs, articles and home videos attached to profiles.

Newbaby had their idea formulated and their content created but they needed to provide more than their competition did to succeed. While social media was just beginning to take off MVI worked with Newbaby to implement new features and technology into a new site making it easy to use but content rich.

After analyzing the target demographic MVI set out to create the perfect site for the audience. Many different versions of the site were tested repeatedly until we arrived at a site that was beating anything else we tried with Newbaby.

Flash profiles were added to allow realtime capture of vlbogs (video blogs) as well as written blogs, photo and video galleries, discussion groups and video embedding. Newbaby even featured the ability to create on-the-fly video playlists before youtube had this feature.

Today Newbaby has a flourishing community of active users as well as doctors and other baby experts that post their video and written content often. Traffic continues to grow at a pace of 65% a year with no end in sight.
